Who We Are
Our Beginning:
Watching the devastation on TV was overwhelming! Day after day the reports were broadcast of the effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the Gulf Coast region. I had to do something. But what? I couldn’t easily go and rebuild homes and lives, but I knew I had to be a part of the answer and the healing.
Then, God strongly impressed upon me to “act, out of the area of your strength!” For me, that strength was in music and performing arts. And so it began in early September 2005. From virtually nothing, a non-profit organization was formed — Community Impact Productions — and the name said it all.
Come join us in such areas as choir, ensemble, instrumental, drama, dance, lighting, costumes, make-up, behind the scenes, PR, advertising, promotion, technical and much more as we create and perform inspirational entertainment with the purpose to make our community and country a better place for all people. All dramatic musical productions are for the purpose of raising financial support for on-going humanitarian efforts through our partnership with Cooperative Christian Ministry.
